Featured Volunteer: Jeff Haas, President
The Alumni Club of Atlanta is pleased to introduce our new President, Jeff Haas, AB'82!
As of June 2016, Jeff Haas, AB'82 is President of the University of Chicago Alumni Club of Atlanta. In addition to helping the board plan exciting events and communicate them to all alumni in Atlanta, Jeff is eager to reconnect with alumni partners, meet and support new club members, and build up the UChicago community in metro-Atlanta.
About Jeff:
Jeff Haas has published short fiction and poetry in Shenandoah, Rattle,
Fantasy & Science Fiction, Asimov’s Science Fiction, Baen’s
Universe, and many other publications. He has taught creative writing at
Emory University and technical writing online through Writers Digest
University. Jeff is a Member of the Science Fiction Writers of America
and a Fellow of the Society for Technical Communication. He is the
current President of the University of Chicago Alumni Club of Atlanta
and a Facilitator for the Digital Alumni Book Club in collaboration with
Continuing Education and the University of Chicago Press. In his day
job as a Senior Content Developer at ADP he applies his narrative and
voiceover skills to creating professional software demos for mission
critical applications. Jeff’s short fiction is collected in an Amazon
ebook called Searching for Nada.
